Abstraction"A line is a dot that went for a walk" ~Paul Klee Thinking about a poignant moment of a dream, a childhood memory, a reminder from nature or idea from my mind‘s eye inspires me to paint it. What idea starts out to “have meaning” becomes a process as form, color, motion and surface textures develop, combined with memories to create a new visual of that original thought. What others see is a mirror or projection of an outward expression of an inner reality.
